Until everyone understands
> Every year, NAS Bristol organise an extra special Easter egg hunt for young people with autism and their families.
> Children hunt for colourful plastic eggs in the grounds of our beautiful venue, Knowle West Children's Centre.
> Eggs are then taken to be exchanged for one of a selection of sweet treats from our prize box.
> Once children have collected all their eggs the fun doesn't stop, we have lots of fun craft activities taking place indoors; children are free to explore the outdoor areas with sandpits, tyre swings, climbing frames and a boat!
> We had an amazing raffle with lots of fun prizes to be won.
> We were joined by special guest Jake, the therapy dog and his human Matt who was happy to discuss how animals can benefit people on the autism spectrum.
> Once we were done, all the children left with their bag of treats, a proper Easter egg and a goody bag as a Thank you for joining us.
This was another amazing event and we would like to thank Knowle West Children's Centre for hosting our egg hunt again, it truly is an amazing venue. We would also like to thank all of our volunteers, those who donated items for the day and all the families that came along and joined in the fun.
A big Thank You goes to Jake and Matt for being our special guests.
We look forward to 2017 and making it even better!
